Hi! I'm Hanna, a Swedish artist and lifelong dreamer, currently exploring the UK with my boyfriend Scott in our home on wheels, Wally. ​

 

I grew up surrounded by the beautiful forests of Östersund in Sweden. Wanderlust eventually led me to England to pursue music, but after finishing my degree, I found myself pulled strongly back to my first love: painting, especially with watercolours. Reconnecting with art felt like reconnecting with myself – awakening my love for nature, magic, folklore, and all things mystical. ​

 

This vanlife journey Scott and I are on now is where I find so much inspiration! Influenced by my love for storybook art and fantasy illustration, my passion is creating enchanting watercolour scenes that often tell a tale – perhaps featuring mythical creatures, atmospheric landscapes, or characters caught in a moment of wonder. These 'painted tales' are often directly inspired by our travels, the incredible places we explore, the folklore we uncover, and the feelings that bubble up along the way.

And I absolutely love sharing this whole adventure – the beautiful places, the creative process, the vanlife realities (the good and the maybe not-so-glamorous!), and that constant search for wonder – through my cinematic stories over on my YouTube channel.

Nature, fantasy, and a touch of the mystical are definitely my biggest inspirations. As a sensitive soul, I find I'm constantly searching for deeper meanings, fascinated by unseen worlds, ancient wisdom, and how everything feels interconnected.

You'll often find symbols reflecting this in my work. ​When I'm not creating, you might find me singing, exploring deep forests, or curled up with a good book. I absolutely love getting lost in fantasy realms (with a big soft spot for Lord of the Rings), but I'm just as fascinated by digging into spiritual wisdom, ancient knowledge, and life's deeper mysteries.

 

This whole journey – living unconventionally in a van, sharing authentically (even when it feels vulnerable!), creating from a place of joy, and gently facing fears – is about embracing all of who I am, quirks, unconventional interests and all. I truly believe there's so much wonder and beauty in this world, not just in sunny meadows, but in moody forests, under a starry sky, or beneath a mystical full moon too. It's the full spectrum that fascinates me, and perhaps 'enchantment' is the thread connecting it all.

To me, enchantment is about returning to curiosity, to an open heart, to seeing with childlike wonder. It's remembering ancient knowledge and reclaiming forgotten wisdom, while also remembering to appreciate the simple magic already present. Ultimately, it's remembering we are souls connected to everything, and choosing to live fully from that place of wonder and joy.

Ultimately, my hope is simply to share that feeling – the beauty, the magic (both light and shadow!), the connection – inviting you to pause, feel something, and maybe reconnect with the magic that surrounds us and lives within us too.
